Pacifichost is good for joomla hosting but you may have to ask do they use mod_suPhp in their server because joomla has serious ownership problem and only server running suphp can fix it.
Usually shared hosting don't have this mod_suphp so you must ask them do they have this feature or not.
The ownership problem can become your worst nightmare so it's very important to handle it.
