I'm not that keen on many proxy sites. OK they are good for getting traffic from people that use your site during school, uni, work, etc. but I find that some of these proxy sites caches your pages content and then they get listed in Google so you get duplicate content. Also some of the proxies allow their users to browse sites via their proxy while making the ads on the external sites disabled so if they use the proxy to look at your site, then you will not earn from your ads as the user will not see them.
